How you first were introduced to Strat:  My dad played for 35 years. Some said I came out of the womb rolling dice (also came out of the womb a Mike Trout fan).

Origin of your team name:  Ironically, I have very different opinions than most of the people in Boulder (Hippies or otherwise known as Tree Huggers). I wanted to change my team name from the Iowa Cyclones to something to do with Colorado and this is what I landed on.

Any Strat involvement outside the I-75 League? Nope

Your chance to self-promote:  The Boulder Tree Huggers franchise is a well renown organization now. We were the first team to make it to the postseason of all of the expansion teams, and we are very proud of that fact. As well, there has been one no-hitter so far in franchise history (thrown by Ricky Romero, and then was kicked to the curb the following year…). As well, Mike Trout and Matt Harvey are the faces of our franchise. The team has thought about changing its team name to the Colorado Trouts, however this team name was thrown out since Mike Trout only has 1 MVP (even though he really should have four). Maybe once he wins his next MVP then we will reconsider.
